Prosecuting Patients
Copyright- all rights reserved.
If a Doctor or Nurse has been found "not guilty" of a clinical failure, then he can prosecute the patient for the time involved in dealing with the case e.g. £80 per hour x 20 hours work = £1,600 to be paid. The claim to the Court must be precise and exact or it will be rejected as inaccurate and unsatisfactory.
Patients are often malicious , incorrect and vexatious so this is annoying.
He can threaten to prosecute in the UK Small Claims Courts for up to £10,000 without needing an expensicve Solicitor.
There are books about this form Amazon.co.uk.
The Court Systems in most Commonweath countries are similar to the UK system so this applies to most countries in the world; including the USA..
Similarly one can also prosecute bad Plumbers, Electricians , Roofers or other workmen for shoddy work done , needing repair. It is good to be aware of these legal processes and legal rights. One needs excellent written evidence to prosecute e.g. copies of the written estimate, complaints letters , receipts for items bought etc.
